Actions we are taking to lower risk of infection and protect our patients.
In accordance with government guidelines, any patients and their parents who have no obvious signs of Covid-19, but who have been in contact with anyone with symptoms, are being asked to wait for fourteen days, symptom free, before making or attending any face to face appointments. Dr. Pierini is now scheduling video appointments where appropriate and safe for her regular patients.
We are very sorry, but any patients and their family members who have tested positive for corona virus are unable to be seen until they have received medical clearance. Again, Dr. Pierini will do her best to assess her regular patients by video consultation, should it be felt necessary and appropriate for the symptoms presented. If you are really concerned about the health of your child and feel that a hospital visit might be necessary, you are advised to contact either NHS111 or your private health insurer to make emergency provisions for your child.
Staff at Dr. Pierini’s clinics always use the best health and hygiene practices but are taking extra precautions against the spread of germs. Her clinics complete regular and thorough cleaning of the consultation rooms, waiting rooms, surfaces and toys have now been removed.
To help with social distancing, we respectfully ask all our patients to only enter the clinic at the allotted time. If you arrive at the clinic before your appointment, please wait outside until the doctor can take you straight into her treatment room.
Where possible, we ask parents to wear masks. All visitors are required to wash their hands before their appointments. The clinic will facilitate additional hand sanitation during and after your appointment.
